Atomic's 2012 Stasher is as nice as backcountry, big mountain snowboards get. When you're on soft snow, this board will feel shorter and float easier--but when you put it on edge you'll get fantastic edge hold throughout the entire effective edge of the board. The Stasher is a fast snowboard, great for bumpy terrain and rough landings, you could run this board through terrain park laps, but the rider of this board is more concerned with exploring new terrain and finding powder stashes and probably only hits the terrain park once in a while.
