We ordered this for our 11 yr old daughter for Christmas. On opening the box, the board wasn't cushioned in any way, just left loose inside. The bag it was in was torn and not intact. After getting the board out of the box and upon inspection we could not believe the terrible workmanship. The wood was gouged and damaged, there were splinters on the edges. An unprotected hand could have easily gotten a nasty splinter. The varnish/finish was practically non existent and the surface was rough all over. The board had not been sanded at all. Whatever cut the board originally left lined dents/gouges along the surface. Very poor quality. We are disgusted that a board like this would be shipped out. Where was quality control?!! Now somehow we have to find a replacement in time for the Holiday. Sending this item back.

this is ok...great size for a beginner...a bit heavy. wish the straps were easier to use. would buy again though.

WE wanted a board for our 8 yr old to use in the back yard or local sledding hills. It was made well but when we took it to the hill, my husband had to push our son down. The board did not slide on its own. Not very usefull if you want to introduce snowboarding. We were disappointed.
